Prof. MYUNGHO KIM is the renowned metallurgist on production metallurgy. He obtained his bachelor's degree (1973) and Master’s degree(1975) from the Engineering College of Seoul National University(SNU), and M.Met. degree(1979) & Ph.D. degree(1984) from the Department of Metallurgy of Sheffield University in England. He entered Ulsan University as a Lecturer in 1975, and moved into Inha University in 1992. He has also worked as a research associate(1988-1989) in the Drexel University at Philadelphia, USA. He served as the Chief Director of the Technology Innovation Center for Light Metals (TIC-LM) during 2000-2015. Also, he served as a Director in the Songdo Techno Park(STP). He has worked as the President of Korea Foundry Society(KFS) during 1987-1988, and then working as an executive member of WFO since 1988, and he was elected as President of the WFO (2016-2017). As a professor, he published more than 200 academic papers and 12 patents at home and abroad.
