Nearly 20 WFO countries take part in three working conferences

The World Foundry Organization held in July 2019 its annual mid-year conferences with Member Associations, to advance some of the active challenges and action lines
21 professionals from the global technical network under the WFO took part on three different conferences. During the working conferences, the WFO National Representatives have been able to work on actual relevant action lines like the new policy for the Global Foundry Report, the road map for the new edition of the World Foundry Summit in New York in 2020 or the answer from the WFO to some necessities and requests from members. The encounter put also in value the work made recently in GIFA, where the WFO had a stand.
Some of the preliminary outcomes of these important meetings have been the starting up of new International Working Groups, new proposals to connect the WFO Global Foundry Report with the main global casting consumer industries or some specific contents and strategies to be deployed in the next General Assembly, among others.
The next encounter for the WFO Member Associations will be in Slovenia in September 20th, in the 2019 General Assembly, within the framework of the WFO Technical Forum and 59th IFC.
