74th WFC A great success

The World Foundry industry met up in Busan Korea for the 74th World Foundry Congress in October 2022, after a Covid related postponement the congress was hosted by the Korean Foundry Society in the wonderful city of Busan.
The 5 day event saw over 7oo delegates meet both physically and virtually to enjoy technical presentations, works visits, social dinners and parties and a post congress tour. Held at the same time were the WFOs Executive meeting and the General Assembly, both of which were well attended by the representatives from around the world. It was also a momentus event as the General Secretary, Andrew Turner handed over the reins of the organisation after 22 years to Jose Javier Gonzalez of Spain.
