Mark is a Metallurgical engineer with over 30 years’ experience in the foundry industry, having worked for BSC River Don and Renishaw Foundry involved in the production of large steel castings (up to 500Tonnes) and grey and ductile iron castings up to 20 Tonnes.

Mark led a management buyout of Omega foundry Machinery in 1995 and has been chairman of the company for the last 19 years. In that time Omega has grown to incorporate 5 subsidiary companies located in USA, India, Australia, Malaysia, Republic of S Africa, China, Italy and Turkey and has over 150 Employees with a group turnover of 30 Million Euros. Omega was the recipient of the Queens award for industrial achievement in 2009.

Mark is a fellow of and was the President of the UK member association ICME in 2015
