Józef Szczepan Suchy (born in 1951)

As full professor, he has the dean of the Foundry Faculty at the AGH University of Science and Technology. Previously, he was the head of the chair at the Opole University of Technology, and in the years 1996-1999 he held the position of the university’s rector. Since 2004 he has also been deputy president of Polish Federation of Engineering Associations. For many years he has been an active member of  Polish Foundrymen Technical Association, where he held the position of president for more than a decade and, currently, he is a honorary president.

Jozef has been the President of the WFO and is the current Honorary Treasurer, having been on the Executive Board for over 20 years
